This is who we are. This is MAN.
Publication of the MAN 2013 CR Report at the MAN Museum
Augsburg – where Rudolf Diesel once developed the diesel engine – is home to the MAN Museum. This makes it an ideal location for presenting the 2013 Corporate Responsibility Report and its theme “a global player with roots in Germany” in which MAN presents its roots going back more than 255 years. Today, MAN provides its products and services all over the world.
To mark the occassion, MAN invited just under 100 employees and other stakeholders to Augsburg on May 20, 2014, to look through the museum archives and experience the MAN Diesel & Turbo colleagues’ site and its research and development center.
One of the successes of fiscal 2013 highlighted is the 14-percent reduction in CO2 emissions at MAN production sites. This takes MAN much closer toward its Climate Strategy goal of achieving a 25-percent reduction in CO2 emissions by 2020.
Our success is down to our employees: “We are proud of our winning team: our employees are key to long-term success and they are also the most important ambassadors of our CR Strategy,” explained Wilfried von Rath, Chief Human Resources Officer of MAN Diesel & Turbo.
