New data management
MAN attaches a great deal of importance to quality when it comes to recording sustainability indicators.
An efficient system for data input is required in order to supply indicators for subsequent reporting, monitoring, and analysis. These provide an indication of the developments that have occurred and the progress that has been made in the areas of energy, waste, and the environment.
In 2018, MAN began the process of transitioning all sites to a uniform data input and reporting software. The implementation process was completed in early 2019. The new software makes a higher quality of data input and consolidation possible. In addition, the data tool enables live tracking of the data pool, as well as offering complex evaluation and error analysis options.
Digitalizing the data management process is the first step on the road to uniform data input throughout the Group.
