MAN Nutzfahrzeuge opens new world of experience focusing on the commercial vehicle
The representative MAN Forum in Munich unifies Branch Competence Center, Customer Center and the new MAN Brand World under a single roof.
MAN Nutzfahrzeuge has opened its new MAN Forum in Munich. With the modern building complex, a very special world of experience focusing on the commercial vehicle has come into being. The MAN Forum unifies the Branch Competence Center, the Customer Center and the MAN Brand World under a single roof. "The MAN Forum is the new, representative showcase of our company. Here we have created a unique world of MAN commercial vehicles that offers our customers and visitors a platform for information and competent consulting, a world that makes it possible to live the MAN brand," says Anton Weinmann, Chairman of the Board of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG.
MANBranch Competence Center
In the MAN Branch Competence Center, customers and interested parties obtain information and expert advice exactly tailored to their respective transport requirements. The perfect configuration of vehicle and body is the prerequisite for the highest degree of efficiency in the fleet. The exhibition of vehicles covers an area of more than 6,000 square metres and is a clear demonstration of the system competence that MAN and renowned body builders possess. Changing exhibitions are devoted to current branch and product topics.
At the MAN Customer Center, collecting a new vehicle becomes an experience for the customer. As part of the MAN Forum, the Customer Center offers a variety of activities that immerse one in the MAN world of experience. The program around the collecting of the vehicle caters to the desires of the individual customers. On offer are, amongst others: driver training and instruction on the new vehicle, guided tours of the MAN Branch Competence Center and the Brand World or a visit to Truck Production in the Munich plant. The experience is rounded off gastronomically with regional and international dishes.
The newly-built MAN Brand World covers an area of over 400 square metres and provides an impressive overview of the history of the company, current innovations and visions of the future. From the invention of the diesel engine to the development of innovative exhaust-gas technologies and driver assistant systems to design studies for new vehicle concepts - the visitor can be a time-traveller in the world of the commercial vehicle. Making it possible to live MAN – that is the concept of the newly-created Brand World.
