MAN Truck & Bus AG, which is based in Munich, Germany, is the largest company in the MAN Group and one of the leading international providers of commercial vehicles and transport solutions.
MAN Truck & Bus manufactures trucks with gross vehicle weights ranging from 7.5 to 44 tons, heavy-duty special-purpose vehicles with gross train weights of up to 250 tons, city and intercity buses and coaches (entire buses and chassis), as well as diesel and natural gas engines. To complement this, MAN Truck & Bus offers customers an extensive range of services from a single source. The company has four production sites in Germany - Munich, Nuremberg, Salzgitter and Plauen. In addition, it also has production sites in Steyr (Austria) and Poznań, Starachowice and Krakow (Poland). Other production sites are located in Ankara (Turkey), in St. Petersburg (Russia), in Olifantsfontein and Pinetown in South Africa and Pithampur, India.
MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, which is based in Augsburg, Germany, is the world's leading supplier of large diesel engines and turbomachinery for maritime and stationary applications.
The company develops two and four-stroke engines, which are manufactured either by itself or by license holders and generate power outputs of between 450 kW and 87 MW. In addition, MAN Diesel & Turbo develops and produces gas turbines up to 50 MW, steam turbines up to 150 MW and compressors with volume flows of up to 1.5 Mio m³/h and pressures up to 1000 bar. Turbo chargers, controllable pitch propellers, gas engines and chemical reactors supplement the product portfolio. The range of products and services offered by MAN Diesel & Turbo includes complete marine drive systems, turbomachinery trains for both the oil and gas industries and process engineering, as well as complete power plant solutions.

It has been the local market leader in the over 5 t class for eleven years and is a leading supplier of commercial vehicles and bus chassis for growth markets, with one of the most advanced production facilities worldwide for trucks and bus chassis that are marketed under both the Volkswagen and MAN brands. The company produces trucks and buses in Resende, Brazil, and Querétaro, Mexico.
